  • An upgrade on MyFitnessPal

Been a MFP user for years but recently tried out Cronometer. For those looking for better data, more detailed tracking, and best of all, the ability to synch with your Whoop fitness tracker (🙌🏽) this is the app for you. Pretty slick interface as well with one small gripe - wish it learned which foods you typically ate together ala MFP so you didn’t have to manually add the same foods each day.

Ads after every single diary entry?? I understand supporting a free tier but this is ridiculous and feels so spammy. Actively looking for alternatives. They ruined another good one friends

I NEVER write reviews for apps but I’m enjoying this one so much I had to encourage others to get it. I used to use My fitness pal and it was clunky and unintuitive, and when they put the barcode scanner behind a paywall it was the nail in the coffin for me. I switched to Lifesum which isn’t a bad app but the calories and macros were sometimes inaccurate. I’ve been using this one for a couple weeks now and it is absolutely everything you need it to be and more. It has the barcode scanner, it shows recent foods logged and allows for custom meals so I don’t have to scan 13 ingredients every single day for the same meal I always eat. There is so much convenience and ease of use built into this app it makes counting calories enjoyable. Showing my vitamin intake, calories and macros all with a few swipes, showing the barcode scanner from the log food plus button instead of having to find it on the foods page, swiping foods to delete or the other way to get a nutritional summary, etc etc. And all these features are for FREE, with some good features offered with gold aswell. Whoever made this app knows exactly what they’re doing and I had to show some appreciation, awesome app which should become the new go to instead of the other garbage that’s more ad then app.

Ditch the little blue body and come over to the better app. Scanning barcodes- free, fewer clicks, better user interface than those others. Seems faster and more accurate with inputting recipes. I’m impressed!
  • Can be more userfriendly for the blind

It had some good information but I had to get a cited person to help me login the pacific names for breakfast lunch and dinner also I need to help to put together my workout plan within this program as I use the PC to do that rather than the app and after I got that help then I was more easily able to use it as a visually impaired person

    By Well..here it is
Doesn’t save the items it did prior to the newest update.
  • Horrendous continuous circle of email verification

Just keeps insisting I verify my email despite having done this multiple times already. The app continually brings the log out or resend email box up and I can not use the app. On to the next app I guess as this was a pure waste of time

I’ve been using it for a while now and almost every food item I scan has the wrong nutrition info, very clumsy layout as far as tracking what food you had for each meal, hard to find exactly what you’re eating if there isn’t a barcode to scan. It has potential but for me just doesn’t work and isn’t accurate.
