Pros: - Good source of income - It creates opportunity - It allows a freedom in work Cons - The map needs great adjustment (speed limits and routes) - It needs more opportunity for driver feedback (higher frequency) - fair pay (for wear and tear on our vehicle & time)
  • Poor directions system

I find the app giving directions that make no sense and are more fuel consuming. Making what you earn not worth the trip.

There are a lot of improvements on the updates which is great, it also have crashes recently where it heats up my phone and app will go down, then; I have to restart it again this went over and over again, my phone is an iPhone, a week ago I got the 15 pro, the app was okay until March 27th the app started crashing again; my phone gets hot and the app will disconnect, then I have to tap Uber icon again and it will restart; it will stay for about 1-1 1/2 minutes again and this is still happening up till now. Do you guys have any idea(s) why this is happening?

I was averaging $10 an hour with tips driving plus I drive a gas guzzling suv. Not worth it!!! This company needs to be more transparent about what they charge and pay their drivers better!!! Thumbs down 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
  • Number of passengers

In addition to the seatbelt question and star rating, we should be able to report how many passengers there were. Last week, I was told One and there was three. Uber tried to send me to another share rider but I had no seats left after the pickup of three more.
  • My Uber Audio taking over

I am setting the tone with my music in car and Uber app keeps kicking my music off the car speakers. It is ruining me setting up my music for my customers. My customers enjoy my music, they are often very relaxed by it and sometimes my customers fall asleep listening. They often compliment me for my music. Why can’t I play my music while using Uber app?

While I've appreciated the financial freedom and flexibility that Uber has provided me up until this point, I must express my growing dissatisfaction with several aspects of the service. As an Uber delivery person, the recurring disappointment of arriving at closed restaurants or finding out another driver has already taken the order is frustrating beyond measure. It's disheartening to waste time and resources due to poor coordination between Uber and the restaurants. What exacerbates the frustration is witnessing how Uber's closest competitor, Doordash, handles similar situations. Unlike Uber, they rarely encounter these issues, ensuring a smoother delivery process overall. Moreover, in the rare instances where a hiccup does occur, their compensation model stands out. Instead of a flat $3, they offer to pay half the upfront offer, demonstrating a commitment to fair compensation even in challenging circumstances. Adding insult to injury, there's the noticeable reduction in mileage to payment ratios. Despite the inflated economy, the compensation for deliveries seems to have decreased noticeably. It's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the expenses associated with delivering for Uber when the returns are dwindling. To make matters worse, Uber's $3 compensation is selectively issued and withheld at a threshold that they do not disclose for an indefinite period of time. This new compensation policing stands in stark contrast to their lax approach to accurately monitoring operational hour submissions from their clients, which hasn't been happening for at least a couple of years. It appears they are more concerned about penalizing the drivers than resolving the source of the issue, which necessitates compensation in the first place. This discrepancy in compensation, operational efficiency, and the diminishing mileage-to-payment ratio makes it increasingly tempting to consider alternatives to Uber, where my time and efforts are valued and respected. Despite these frustrations, I remain hopeful that Uber will address these issues and improve the experience for both drivers and customers. As someone who has benefited from the flexibility and financial opportunities provided by Uber, I believe constructive feedback can lead to positive changes. Here's to a future where these concerns are acknowledged and resolved, ensuring a more efficient and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
  • Not worth it anymore.

I’ve encounter more issues than I care to mention while driving with Uber. They just don’t fight for drivers. Every time I bring up an issue they respond with “there is nothing we can do and there is nothing we can control on the app.”
