Our app is trusted by over a million bass anglers nationwide because it delivers real results. BACKED BY SCIENCE Backed by a nationwide double-blind independent catch rate study, BassForecast has proven to increase catch rates by up to 305% on EPIC rated days, and 68% on GOOD rated days compared to the overall study average. We spent years of research using the best sources: fisheries biologists, water engineering reports on how long it takes for water temperatures to adjust to air temperatures and bass industry experts on all of the very best seasonal patterns for both active bass and inactive bass. Your app forces me to click a link to upgrade to the pro version every time I open it. And then tells me I’m already a pro member. Which I am. Why do I have to go thru this annoying step every single time I open the app. Almost cancelled my membership. Might still.

It’s a great app! Especially with the recommended baits and locations to throw at and gives great video descriptions of how to retrieve the baits and tells you to start shallow and work deeper if needed.
  • Forecast feels random and wrong

Caught fish with power lures on "Finesse" days and literally zero fish on "most active " days. Fishing the same lake which I caught multiple bass in before. Private lake that is rarely fished. The app will make you want to fish more which is great but doesn't actually have any correlation to wether the fish will be active or not. An app can't predict that so paying money for something claiming to do so is my fault. None of the tips are things you will find outside of Tylersreelfishing yt channel. Not worrh 2$ a month let alone 20
  • Atrocious App

Everyone the app is opened it takes me to an upgrade to pro screen even though I’m already a pro member. Crashes often and good luck getting the $20 tackle warehouse gift code they promise with pro upgrade. Emailed support several times about it with no answer. Bait and switch all the way without a bass on the other end of the bait.

The app uses Solunar, Weather conditions, UV index and barometer to determine the activity of bass and recommends you the best lures and locations. Every. single. time it has WORKED. Bad conditions? Still caught bass. Great conditions? Caught tons of bass with fun presentations like top waters and spinners. It takes the guesswork out, saves you a bunch of time and preparation before your fishing trip.
  • Stop asking me to upgrade when I already have.

When I log in app asks me to upgrade to the paid version, which I already have. No way to close it out without clicking thru so the app can tell me I’m already a pro member, very annoying.

Downloaded the app and paid for a one year full subscription. For starters, the app constantly asks for you to sign up before realizing your already have. The BIG problem is their weather forecast does’t work. Their forecast, based on Accuweather, does t match the forecast on the actual Accuweather website. The app called for a weekend of fair weather full of sunshine and made fishing suggestions based on same. In reality it rained and stormed all weekend, as predicted by Accuweather. To too it all off, the Tackle Warehouse “gift card” isn’t a gift card. It’s a coupon. What the difference? Instead of having to spend $50 for free shipping and getting your order in less than a week, you have to spend $70. If not, then you are charged $6.75 in shipping and delivery is pushed back to almost a month. Tackle Warehouse chat support confirmed they are aware of this false advertising but said basically they won’t honor it as a gift card and it’s my problem to deal with. So I have an app that doesn’t work and a gift card that is going to cost me more in the long run than it’s worth. Thanks Bass Forecast. I’m done with you and Tyler’s reel fishing. For a guy who claims to be a strong man of faith, this is a HORRIBLE way to do business.

I never prepare for a day of fishing without input from BassForecast, thanks for helping me be a better angler.
  • Very little confidence in the data

The layout is visually appealing and easy to understand. I think, however, the data is inaccurate. The weather is wrong, even compared to the source referenced in the app. The score/rating forecast may be off by 1.5 or 2 points for areas which abut one another or are within a few miles. I can't imagine factors such as barometric pressure and weather patterns would vary so drastically Ober such a short distance.
