Voting and Karma: Instead of likes and hearts, Reddit’s social network runs on upvotes or downvotes. Voting on posts and comments increase or decrease the creator’s karma, and helps popular and relevant posts rise to the top, while filtering out low-quality or irrelevant posts. While karma doesn't directly impact your ability to use Reddit, more karma can increase posts’ visibility and help you get noticed. Some communities require karma to post or comment, which helps prevent spam or low-quality content. • Awful User Experience

The functionality of this app is zilch. Bring back Apollo.

  • Bad UX

    By RJHBookLinux
These terrible UX changes they keep trying out in different ways are ruining this app. I hope the dev teams review these, the changes being made are poorly designed and implemented. Do better.
  • Was Fantastic

Barely works these days. Why not relax on the ads and work on UX?

  • Up and small down

Overall, I like the new Reddit app. Seems easier to navigate. However, I don’t know if it’s a Reddit app thing, an iOS 17 thing, or some of both, but Reddit password is apparently not being saved.

  • A sad slide into irrelevance

The best features have all been killed off and reddit has been on a downward spiral since 2018. Thanks for all the good memories but I guess nothing can last forever 🫡
