Signed up for free trial. Charged me $40 and refused to refund me. Training plan was garbage too.

It does a good job, but trusting it too much will not lead to progress. It good at keeping track of workouts, but it will repeat the same workouts over unless the user intervenes. Too much repetition leads to progress stagnation. Also, it does not have some basics exercises in it repertoire. No Farmer’s Walk nor Kettlebell Swings for example. These are relatively minor issues, but I actually hold back five stars because it automatically advances from one completed exercise to another no way to return to previous exercises. I would prefer to move between exercises at my own untimed pace. Is it worth the yearly $59. For me it is. It keeps me focused on form and time as well as keeping a history of previous workouts and that is about all I can expect from an app.
  • Great app - one minor flaw

I love this app. I’ve used for well over a year. My only quibble is when it tells you that time’s up between sets, the drop down banner, when within the app, cannot be swiped away. This presents you from accessing certain aspects of the app. This is a very minor issue but a super annoying one. Thank you to the developers for a fantastic workout app.

It’s not bad for someone starting out it’s good to get a base of what to do. Just some thing I don’t agree with and everyone has their own opinion. The exercises don’t change week after week and they have to or you will never improve. Your muscles will become so used to doing the same thing that you will plateau. Need to add in muscle confusion and add different workouts week by week. I’ve been lifting on and off for years and finally last year I made a commitment to be consistent and this app got me where I wanted and needed to be. After I found my base line I had no need for it. So someone starting out would definitely recommend.

I just downloaded the app and it works nice and keeps you motivated and focused. I like the plans you’re able to select. However, sometimes I want to workout on the fly (my plan is to workout 4 days a week). You don’t have the ability to preload workouts on your off days, unlike your days on. If you also make a change to the day you workout, the whole plan changes. It would be nice to be able to add a random day in the week and have workouts preloaded.

Gymverse is an excellent app for fitness enthusiasts looking to streamline their workout routines and track their progress. Its sleek interface is user-friendly. The app offers a variety of customizable workout plans, progress tracking tools, and integration with wearable fitness devices, which is a huge plus. As a paid user, I would like to see gymverse integrate a fasting clock into its features. Intermittent fasting is a popular and effective practice among fitness enthusiasts, therefore, a fasting clock would allow users to log and track their fasting windows seamlessly within the app.
